Ways to pay

Pay On-line

You can pay for intensive course, first lessons / Assessment lessons and pre- payments online by using Google Checkout Plese use the Pay On-Line page. You don’t have to pay the full
amount up front, you can use the deposit option of paying £50 to reserve your tuition times and then pay the balance on the first day of your course using any of these payment methods (E.g. you can pay on-line for the deposit and then pay the balance by cash etc).

Pay by cash

All tuition must be paid for in advance. Hourly lessons must be paid for at the beginning of your lesson. Intensive courses must be paid for in full at the beginning of the course minus deposit paid. Your logbook has your driving appointments on the reverse with an area for you instructor to sign which acts as your receipt of payment.

Pay by cheque

Unfortunately we can only accept personal cheques for intensive courses that have cleared before the start of the first lesson. If you are intending to pay for an intensive course by cheque please send us the cheque in advance allowing time for the cheque to clear. Hourly lessons can be paid for by cheque without the additional clearing time.

Credit and Debit cards

We can only accept payment by credit/debit cards via our website using the Google or Paypal methods. In the near future we will offer card payments at the point of tuition.

Bank Transfer

You can pay via BACS or other bank transfer methods. But you will
need to contact us before and we will give you the relevant bank details.

 

With Chris Richards ADI you can be assured that our goal is to get you to pass your test, first time and as soon as possible. Without an excessive number of lessons.

We monitor your progress and discuss it with you at every step of the way to help keep you progressing efficiently.
Unfortunately not all driving instructor do this. Some instructors ‘drag out’ lessons and tell their learners that they need more hours then they actually do in order to make more money.

The first thing some people think about when looking for driving tuition is the price, which is fine.
However just take a minute to think - ‘Why is that Driving Instructor Cheaper’?

Does the Cheaper Instructor work out cheaper over all?
Take a look at this example:

40 hours @ £20 per hr = £800.00
1st Practical Test fee £62.00

40 Hours @ £22 per hour = £880.00
1 Practical Test fee £ 62.00

Total Cost : £ 942.00 - (£ 182.00 difference and a lot of time and heart-ache!)

We Pride Ourselves on our First-Time pass rate and the majority of our learners reach ‘Test Standard’ before the 40 Hours that the DSA states as an average amount of professional tuition(plus 22 hours of private practice which most of our students dont have) that is needed to pass your test (usually around 30 hours of professional tuition saving you up to an extra £220! Plus you dont have the extra cost of private lessons and insurace costs etc.).

Also we discount our prices for block bookings so you could save even more!!
