What is Psychometric Testing....
...The Psychometric testing that we use is provided by leading online profiling company ‘PeopleMaps’ via an online assessment. It lasts no longer than 10 minutes and has only 10 questions. Once you have answered the questions we receive a report on the outcome and from this we can tailor how we teach you as it identifies key areas of your personality that effect the way you will drive. This information will also be shared and discussed with you to help you become a safer drive. It not only helps us but can also be interesting and a real eye-opener into how we think and react to different situations.
Why we offer free Psychometric Testing....
...The Driving Standards Agency have recently devoted a lot of time and evidence in the governments consultation paper ‘Learning to Drive’ showing that personality and attitude plays a big role in learning to drive safely. We widely expect big changes to the way we train and test learner drivers once the consultation and outcome is completed. As such we are trying to implement and learn from the consultation paper now instead of waiting for the outcome to be finalised. In the Fleet Driving Tuition industry, Psychometric testing is standard and helps analyse and make our roads safer(if its good enough for them then it should defiantly help us as large companies don't waste their money!).
What do I have to do for the Psychometric Testing....
...We simply as our learners to fill out an online questionnaire, which takes no longer than 10 minutes and has only 10 questions to answer. Their are no ‘correct or ‘wrong’ answers so you should not feel nervous about the result. The report then gives us information which we can share with you and helps us tailor you tuition. In an ideal situation you should take the test a few days before your first lesson with us so we can have you report ready and analyse it, so we can have your 1st lesson tailored to you needs, avoiding any wasted time! You will also be given a copy of the assessment and we will be happy to go through it with you if needed. The assessment measures your reactions to 6 main key areas these are : Decision making, Concentration, Patience, Communication, Courtesy to Strangers and
